Sunday, November 23, 2008 8:09 PM BoA Performs Eat You Up Live on Youtube L!VE Tokyo Youtube had organized a first-ever Youtube L!ve Concert at San Franciso and Tokyo back-to-back today. What was unique about this was it was being streamed live from Youtube.com itself. The San Franciso event was a success but the same cannot be said of the Tokyo event. Many of BoA fans had either waited all afternoon in the Asia region or stayed up all night in the hope of catching BoA perform Eat You Up live and for the first-time ever. Well, they were to be left disappointed by Youtube who didn’t stream the live broadcast unlike San Francisco. They didn’t tell any of us that it wouldn’t be streamed live beforehand which was poor PR. In any case, BoA did perform as scheduled at 4.30pm in Tokyo to a live audience, singing Eat You Up, Lose Your Mind and two of her old hits, Listen to My Heart, Meri Kuri. Thumbs down for Youtube because many of BoA fans had been waiting for a long time to see her perform and frankly only cared/wanted to see BoA among all the other performers. 8:08 PM KIM HYUN JOONG - YOON JI HOO: Interview  usually dont monitor myself,, but for I get goosebumped out and still feel a tickly having to say all those mushy line for the drama because I'm really into manly adventurous dramas and movies, and can't really say those things easily,, but i dont think it'll be a problem because the viewers are going to be watching me as Yoon Ji Hoo who has the image of the classic romantic guy. A quiet but random 4 dimensional Flower boy is Kim Hyun Joong image among koreans and this is also the same for the character of Yoon Ji Hoo. "I'm really shy too,, i think 80% of our personalities are similar. but Yoon Ji Hoo is more feminine and overwhelming sometimes,,, i really like partying crazy and doing what guys do for fun,, so i'll have to practice a bit more.." 8:08 PM Feature directing debut in the works for Yoo Ji-tae  Yoo Ji-tae is readying to don his director’s hat once more for his debut feature film. The 32-year-old actor has had remarkable success in his acting roles (Oldboy, Traces of Love), and has also enjoyed a good amount of praise for his previous three short films, which he wrote and directed. Yoo’s directorial debut in 2003, the short film Bicycle Boy, was well-received, and his follow-up 2005 short How Do the Blind Dream starred Oh Dal-su (The Good, The Bad, The Weird) and went to the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France. His third short, Out of My Intention, had its own theatrical release earlier this year and screened at several short film festivals. Although there are a fair number of Hollywood actors who branch into directing, it’s rare for that to happen in the Korean industry. Kim Hae-gon is one case of a screenwriter taking on acting, but Yoo is unusual in that he’s an A-list actor branching into writing and directing, the first of that rare breed since 1970s actor-director Ha Myung-joong. Yoo has revealed that he has finished writing the feature screenplay, but wants to punch it up to make it more entertaining.
